sweet summertime.

its summertime, and the sun is finally shinning! i love this relaxing season. i love being home with my parents and friends! also, our family adopted a dog a little over a month ago..talullah, and i love spending time with her cute self!

this past week i started my summer job, babysitting. i watch 2 girls from 8-5 on different days during the week. i enjoyed my first week and think this to be a much better job than previous sitting experiences.

last night i had a great time at the hillsong conert. their music and talent is incredible. today i took advantage of this beautiful weather and layed out at the pool and rode my bike this evening. i am typically scared or bikes because i have never been a pro rider, but i had a great time taking in the scenery of bluff park, (what a great neighborhood) and enjoying the weather.

tomorrow is church and hopefully something outdoors. i LOVE spending time OUTSIDE!

blessing of the post: my country, my state, my city, my home.

have not forgotten about you blog..

i got back this afternoon from cheaha state park. the five, best friends since middle school, finally ventured out on our own, for a weekend in the wilderness. despite the rain and my clumsy fall, the weekend was wonderful. the park was absolutely beautiful, and my appreciation for mother nature grew. i love being outside, thanks God for your beautiful creation!

sadly, much of my summer has been spent indoors due to the excessive rainfall. will we ever see the sun again?

this weekend i may go down to f dub (fort walton) to see my bestie, lynnlee. i miss her and cant wait till we will be living together in the fall.

last thought.. this weekend a popular conversation topic was the FUTURE. we all realized that time has flown by and will contiue to do so until we graduate college, and then what's in store? who knows. but i feel confident that we will all have better lives than we can plan out on our own right now.
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

now off to watch runaway bride.. hope you have a lovely week!
